Overview
The American Society for Nutrition needed a range of educational, event, and promotional materials supporting its programs, publications, and partners. As Graphic Designer and Project Manager, I translated complex content into clear visual formats, developed new layouts, adapted existing brand systems, and prepared artwork for a variety of print applications. My work also included AI remediation, refining AI-generated creative into professionally designed, editable, production-ready artwork, along with managing revisions, specifications, deadlines, and print vendor coordination across multiple deliverables.
Information Design and Resources
ASN provided complex educational and research-based content that needed to be organized into clear, approachable visual resources. I developed hierarchy, typography, iconography, color systems, tables, and modular layouts to make dense information easier to navigate while maintaining consistency with ASN’s established visual identity. The completed Nutrition Education Implementation Pathways resource, for example, organizes two implementation frameworks, a detailed comparison, six entry points, and common barriers into a cohesive two-page design.

Infographics
Designed a series of infographics to translate research and program information into clear, accessible visual resources. Complex content was organized through concise hierarchy, custom iconography, color coding, and modular layouts while maintaining consistency with ASN’s established visual identity.

Resource & Flyer Design
Developed a detailed resource flyer to organize complex reporting recommendations into a structured, easy-to-reference format. Typography, tables, color, and visual hierarchy make dense technical information easier to navigate while maintaining consistency with ASN’s established visual identity.
Outreach & Event Communications
ASN needed promotional materials that could communicate distinct messages while maintaining a cohesive visual identity across formats. I developed campaign graphics for print and large-format applications, using strong typography, imagery, color, and clear calls to action to create engaging materials that remained consistent with ASN and partner branding.

Outreach Collateral
Designed a promotional postcard to support outreach for the AJCN Nutrition for the Clinician special article series. The design balances a strong call to action with publication branding, key submission information, and supporting imagery in a clear, engaging format.Designed a series of business cards for ASN publications, maintaining individual journal identities while creating a consistent format for contact information and branding.

Event Signage
Extended the campaign’s visual approach to large-format event signage promoting the Physician Nutrition Specialist program. The banner uses bold messaging, branded graphics, and a streamlined hierarchy designed for quick readability in an event environment.
Event & Branded Collateral
ASN needed a range of branded materials to support its publications, events, and member outreach. I developed print and event collateral that worked within established brand systems while adapting the design, hierarchy, and messaging to fit each format and audience.

Mousepad/Business Cards
Designed a mousepad and a series of business cards for ASN publications, maintaining individual journal identities while creating a consistent format for contact information and branding.

Event Awards
Designed coordinating recognition awards for an ASN event, extending the organization’s visual identity into polished commemorative pieces for honorees.
Results
The full suite of event materials was completed ahead of schedule through careful production planning and ongoing coordination with both ASN and the print vendor. Priority pieces with longer production requirements were addressed early, while the schedule remained flexible enough to accommodate additional materials as the event approached. The result was a cohesive collection of branded collateral delivered on time and ready for the event.
